This TP-Link Deco 7 BE3600 system is a three-unit mesh network built on Wi-Fi 7, delivering dual-band speeds up to 3.6 Gbps with 2882 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz across four streams. The three-pack blankets up to 6,500 sq. ft. using four high-gain antennas and four high-power FEMs per unit, so 8K streaming and AR/VR gaming keep pace from room to room. TP-Link's self-developed backhaul technology lets each unit run wireless and wired backhaul at the same time, and Wi-Fi 7 MLO aggregates those links to raise throughput and cut latency.
Built-in AI-Roaming keeps devices on a single network name as you move around the house, while the system supports more than 150 connected devices. TP-Link HomeShield adds network protection, parental controls, and real-time IoT security, and a separate IoT Wi-Fi network with WPA3 encryption helps isolate smart-home gear. The Deco 7 works with all major internet service providers, supports OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP/IPSec, and WireGuard VPN connections, and responds to Google Assistant voice commands for guest Wi-Fi control.
